Dickinson Fleet Services Grows South Florida Presence
Fleet maintenance and management company Dickinson Fleet Services has acquired Fleet Technology & Maintenance Corp. and Truck City Body Co.
The moves will position Dickinson as one of the largest independent truck repair and fleet management companies in the South Florida market, according to an Oct. 16 press release. Fleet Technology & Maintenance Corp. offers mobile on-site and shop services, and Truck City Body Co. offers collision repair and paint services for all heavy trucks, commercial buses and trailers.
“Since entering this market eight years ago, we have recognized Fleet Technology & Maintenance Corp. as being an outstanding provider with a strong reputation for providing exceptional service,” Dickinson executive officers Ted Coltrain and Mike Dickinson said in a joint statement. “In addition to the acquisition of FTM, we are excited to expand our services of collision repair along with paint and refurbishment service to our customers in South Florida.”
Headquartered in Indianapolis, Dickinson is a portfolio company of Ridgemont Equity Partners and PNC Erieview Capital. It operates more than 400 mobile repair units in 40 states.
