Doggett Buys Arkansas Truck Dealership
Leslie Doggett Industries purchased privately held Truck Centers of Arkansas and also gained distribution rights for Freightliner and Western Star trucks and parts in 45 counties in Arkansas and three counties in Oklahoma.
The price was $103 million. The Doggett Truck Group will operate full-service sales and leasing dealerships for the truck brands in Little Rock, Fayetteville and Van Buren.
Houston-based Doggett Industries is a commercial, industrial and construction equipment dealer with full-service outlets in Louisiana, New Mexico, Texas and Chihuahua, Mexico. Its operations include 18 John Deere dealerships with construction and forestry equipment, seven Toyota outlets for material handling equipment, seven Freightliner truck outlets and three Link-Belt crane outlets.
It recently purchased Lone Star Ford in Houston with plans to rename it Doggett Ford and move it next to its John Deere Construction and Forestry location on North Freeway.
