NASHVILLE, Tenn. — FlowBelow Aero has launched its re-engineered Tractor AeroKit with flex fairing, the company announced Oct. 13 at American Trucking Associations’ Management Conference & Exhibition.

The Round Rock, Texas-based company said the new model will be made with cutting-edge materials and design features, delivering increased durability in the field and vastly improved operational performance.

“We’ve built this new product to last,” David Black, vice president of fleet sales, said at a news conference. “We’ve also backed it with a five-year warranty.

“Our standard warranty had been one year. But now it’s five years or 500,000 miles.”

The tractor will include major material changes and design upgrades, Black said.

Key features of the Tractor AeroKit include enhanced durability, improved bracket design and proven fuel savings, the company said in a statement.

The re-engineered AeroKit has undergone extensive field testing with 30 to 50 fleets, ranging from 100 to 600 sleeper cabs, since 2024.

The company said its aerodynamic portfolio can allow fleets to achieve savings of up to 5.8 gallons of fuel for every 1,000 miles driven, or 2.4 cents per mile.

The new flex fairing is made with a rubber alloy resin, similar to that used in vehicle bumpers, that will be made even better, addressing the challenging environments faced by fleets in real-world operations, the company said. All aluminum support brackets are lighter, corrosion-resistant and repositioned to provide better clearance.
