FlowBelow Wheel Covers to Be Offered on Cascadia Evolution
FlowBelow said the wheel covers reduce aerodynamic turbulence and drag by streamlining airflow over the tractor’s drive wheels.
As part of the agreement, FlowBelow products will be offered on all new Cascadia Evolution trucks built at Daimler’s plants, as well as made available for aftermarket purchase.
The announcement was made here Feb. 28 at the Technology & Maintenance Council’s annual meeting.
FlowBelow also recently announced that refrigerated carrier C.R. England equipped 200 new Western Star 5700 XE tractors with its full Tractor AeroKit system, which includes its wheel covers as well as a pair of tandem fairings installed on the tractor.
