Great Dane Promotes Chris Hammond to Executive VP of Sales

Great Dane Trailers announced that it has promoted Chris Hammond to executive vice president of sales.

In his new role, Hammond will be responsible for leading Great Dane’s overall sales, marketing and aftermarket parts and service functions, the trailer manufacturer announced.

Hammond has held a variety of sales positions with Great Dane in his 22 years with the company, both the independent dealer and company-owned branch channels. Most recently he was vice president of dealer and international sales.

“Chris has been an integral part of Great Dane’s success for a number of years,” Great Dane President Dean Engelage said in a statement. “I am confident in his abilities to refine our sales and distribution strategies and to lead our sales, marketing and aftermarket teams.”

Savannah, Georgia-based Great Dane announced that it will immediately begin a search for Hammond’s successor in dealer sales.
