Inland Kenworth, of Tolleson, Arizona, has put together a distinctively designed Kenworth T680 in an effort to further educate and fund efforts against human trafficking.
The project is supported by Truckers Against Trafficking, platinum sponsors Kenworth Truck Co. and Ritchie Bros., and other industry suppliers.
The "Everyday Heroes" truck will debut at American Trucking Associations' Technology & Maintenance Council meeiting in Nashville, Tennessee, during Feb. 27-March 2 in the FlowBelow booth. After being displayed at a series of Ritchie Bros. auctions, it will be auctioned for sale June 20 in Phoenix.
Retail value of the truck is $157,000, according to Inland, and proceeds will go to Truckers Against Trafficking — a nonprofit devoted to stopping human trafficking by educating, mobilizing and empowering the nation’s truck drivers and rest stop employees on what to look for and how to respond.
