Interstate Distributor to Install Tracking Technology on Trailer Fleet
SkyBitz said its trailer-tracking system has been selected by Interstate Distributor for its fleet of trailers.
Interstate, based in Tacoma, Washington, will be installing Falcon GXT3000 cargo sensors to provide real-time location and load status.
“We were looking to employ a solution that supports our goals to improve utilization, customer service and driver retention. Adding trailer-tracking solutions from SkyBitz is a key step to modernizing our fleet and investing in the company’s future,” Interstate CEO Marc Rogers said in a statement.
SkyBitz said the combination of location and cargo sensor data allows for better load-planning and avoids wasted hours from searching for trailers.
Interstate Distributor ranks No. 77 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
