J.B. Hunt Announces Changes at Executive Level

J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. is going through further changes in leadership, the carrier announced Feb. 7.
Executive Vice President David Mee will retire effective March 1. He also was chief financial officer during his nearly three decades at the company. Mee will continue to serve as an adviser until April.
John Kuhlow will assume the role of interim chief financial officer. He currently is senior vice president of finance, controller and chief accounting officer.

“We are deeply grateful to Dave Mee for his over 27 years of leadership and dedication to the success of J.B. Hunt,” CEO John Roberts said in a statement. “We wish Dave well in his retirement and look forward to a smooth and effective transition as John Kuhlow assumes the interim CFO role in April until a permanent CFO is named.”
The Lowell, Ark.-based transportation and logistics company announced Dec. 3 that Terry Matthews would retire as executive vice president and president of intermodal
April 1.
