Mansfield Energy Acquires FuelTrac
Mansfield Energy Corp. has purchased FuelTrac, a fleet fuel management company based in Baton Rouge, La.
Terms were not disclosed.
FuelTrac provides a fuel purchasing card, tank automation and help with emergency preparedness.
Included in the purchase is FuelTrac’s tank wagon and truck assets, plus access to the company’s customer accounts across Louisiana.
Mansfield, based in Gainesville, Ga., is a major supplier of fuels, including diesel, gasoline and natural gas in the United States and Canada.
CEO Michael Mansfield said the acquisition of FuelTrac expands the company’s delivery capability and “bolsters our ability to respond to customers in the face of hurricanes and other emergency situations.”
FuelTrac owner Troy Sullivan said in a statement that the deal with Mansfield will allow the company to offer a broader range of products and services to commercial and government customers.
Mansfield operates a fleet of 24 tractors, 11 cargo tank tank trucks and 25 trailers, according to registration data on file with the U.S. Department of Transportation. FuelTrac’s fleet consists of one tractor, two cargo tank trucks and two trailers.
