Ontario Firm Vision Truck Group Achieves EV Certification From VTNA

Vision Truck Group is the first certified electric vehicle dealer in the greater Toronto area for truck makers Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks. Both are units of Volvo Group.
The Brampton, Ontario, facility has 30 technicians, 14 of whom are master techs and two of whom are certified EV technicians. Of its 34 service bays, two have the tooling and barriers to service battery-electric trucks that can be easily expanded as the dealership adds electromobility customers.
“Our team has always focused on providing top-notch customer service. For example, we were the first to develop rapid repair bays to ensure customers with short repairs didn’t get stuck in a long queue,” Anthony Crombleholme, vice president of sales for Vision Truck Group, said in a release.“We’ve expanded upon this concept by designating uptime bays for battery-electric trucks that feature the necessary vehicle diagnostics tools and equipment, as well as a portable 50 kilowatt service charger.”
Mack makes its LR electric refuse model and VTNA makes its VNR electric model for regional hauls, and urban pickup and delivery.
