Truckload carrier and logistics firm P.A.M. Transportation Services reported a third-quarter loss of $1.2 million, or 13 cents per share, compared with a loss of $3.2 million, or 33 cents, a year ago.
Operating revenue fell 27.6% to $76.7 million, P.A.M. said in a statement.
Logistics revenue grew 10.4% to 9.3%, the company said.
“Like every other trucking company, we would welcome any help we could get from an improved economy,” President Daniel Cushman said in the statement. “That said, we are not dependent on that happening,” he added.
P.A.M. is ranked No. 62 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
