Pilot Flying J to Acquire Western Petroleum
Pilot Flying J said it has agreed to buy Western Petroleum LLC, which sells and transports fuel and lubricants to the oil and gas drilling and hydraulic fracturing industries.
Terms were not disclosed.
Western Petroleum’s operations are largely in the South, the Northern Plains and Rocky Mountain states.
It has experienced rapid growth in servicing petroleum and natural gas drilling industries, the two comapnies said in a statement Wednesday.
Pilot Flying J, Knoxville, Tenn., and has more than 550 retail fuel locations across North America and is a wholesale fuel provider, delivering to customers in 47 states and eight Canadian provinces.
