Port Logistics Group, a provider of gateway logistics services, has appointed Marty Brogden as its new chief financial officer.
Brogden was most recently regional CFO for Agility Logistics, which ranks No. 50 on the Transport Topics Top 50 Logistics Companies list. He has more than 30 years of experience, including operational and financial experience with global publicly and privately held companies.
Port Logistics Group says its services support major retailers and retail manufacturers at all major U.S. port locations, providing the link between international transportation and the last-mile supply chain. It has 5.5 million square feet of multi-client and dedicated warehouse space, with gateway locations in New York/New Jersey, Los Angeles/Long Beach, Seattle/Tacoma, Seattle and Houston.
“Marty is extremely well-qualified to serve as CFO during this time of growth and expansion for Port Logistics Group,” said Bob Stull, the company's CEO. “His experience in the logistics industry coupled with an understanding of fast growing private-equity backed organizations will be a strong complement to our executive team.”
