Ryder System said Wednesday it completed its acquisition Pollock NationaLease, one of the largest privately owned commercial truck leasing and rental companies in Canada, as well as Pollock's logistics operations.
Ryder said the acquisition is expected to add about $43 million in revenue, of which about 55% is related to commercial truck leasing and rental business, and 45% related to logistics.
Under the deal, Ryder acquired Pollock’s fleet 2,000 vehicles, six service locations, and about 200 customers in Ontario and New Brunswick provinces.
The combined network will operate under the Ryder name. The deal was first announced in late August.
Ryder is ranked No. 5 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
