Specialty Program Acquires Insurance Company’s Assets

Specialty Program Group, a subsidiary of Hub International in the insurance underwriting industry, has acquired the assets of transportation insurer Paul Hanson Partners.

Terms were not disclosed.

Paul Hanson Partners offers products called Movers Choice and Biz Choice brands and provides services during the move of employees, independent contractors and contract carriers.

“The acquisition by Specialty Program Group allows us to access a wider group of insurance carriers that will serve our customers better and fully utilize our technology and business solutions,” Paul Hanson Partners CEO Lisa Paul said.

Specialty Program Group CEO Chris Treanor said of Paul Hanson Partners: “They have built an outstanding business and continue to grow in new and exciting ways.
