TMC Begins Radio Show Focused on Technical Truck Issues

he Technology & Maintenance Council has started broadcasting a weekly program on satellite radio dedicated to technical issues affecting the trucking industry.
TMC’s program, “Tech Talk,” debuted June 14 as a regular segment on XM Satellite Radio’s Dave Nemo Show and is scheduled to air for at least another eight weeks, said Robert Braswell, TMC’s technical director.
On the show, Braswell appears with an expert to answer questions on subjects ranging from lighting to brake specifications. Braswell compared the educational value of Tech Talk to that of “Car Talk,” a Public Broadcasting System radio program that focuses on car repairs.
