Trailer Bridge Inc. reported a fourth-quarter loss of $2.9 million, or 24 cents per share, compared with a profit of $1 million, or 8 cents, a year ago.
Revenue fell 7.6% to $28.4 million, the company said Thursday. It posted an operating loss of $400,000, compared with an operating income of $3.6 million a year ago.
For the full year, Trailer Bridge posted a loss of $2.3 million, or 19 cents a share, compared with net income of $2.6 million in 2009.
Full-year revenue rose 3.4% from a year ago, to $118.2 million. Operating income was $7.7 million, down from $12.7 million the year before.
Trailer Bridge provides integrated trucking, intermodal and marine freight services, including a core twice-weekly service to Puerto Rico and service to the Dominican Republic.
