Trailer Bridge's Losses Narrow in Q2

Trailer Bridge Inc. said Monday it lost $1.9 million or 16 cents a share in the second quarter, compared with a loss of $9 million or 76 cents a year ago.

Revenue rose to $29.6 million from $25 million in the 2006 quarter, the company said.

"We intend to grow the company and its earnings by extending the benefits of our unique and differentiated system to more current and new shippers,” said John McCown, chief executive officer.

Trailer Bridge provides integrated trucking, intermodal and marine freight services.
