TravelCenters of America Adds Franchise in Kansas

TravelCenters of America Inc. announced the opening of a TA Express travel center in Edgerton, Kan.
It is a franchised location and expands TA’s total nationwide network of travel centers to 275, including 42 franchises. Network growth is a key component of Westlake, Ohio-based TA’s intended transformation, and TA noted it will continue to focus on franchising to expand its footprint.
TA Express Edgerton is between Kansas City and Wichita. The newly constructed 9,000-square-foot travel center provides professional drivers with 90 truck parking spaces. It has six diesel fueling positions with diesel exhaust fluid available on all lanes.
Amenities include Dunkin’ Express, a deli with hot and cold food options and a store with merchandise.
TA has 19,000 employees working in 275 locations in 44 states and Canada, principally under the TA, Petro Stopping Centers and TA Express brands. — Transport Topics
