Trimac Starts Tuition Reimbursement for Student Drivers
Bulk carrier Trimac Transportation has launched a tuition reimbursement program to aid students in obtaining their CDLs.
Qualifying students will be paid monthly until the tuition has been fully reimbursed or the employee leaves the company, up to a maximum of $5,000 to attend a driving school approved by Trimac.
“Professional CDL-A drivers are the backbone of the transportation industry and keep America moving,” said Tonja Wilhelms, U.S. recruiting manager for Trimac. “With that in mind, we at Trimac want to invest in those individuals who want to pursue this career by assisting with out-of-pocket tuition costs incurred in making this rewarding career choice.”
Trimac Transportation is part of the Trimac Group based in Calgary, Alberta. The parent is No. 45 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
