Trucker Path, the provider of a mobile application for truckers, is expanding its services with a new load-matching platform.
The Trucker Path app, available on Android and iOS-based smartphones and tablets, helps drivers plan routes and check crowd-sourced information about points of interest along the way, including truck stops, weigh stations, truck washes, hotels and parking locations.
With Trucker Path Truckloads, users will also be able to find loads.
Truckloads, currently in public beta testing, is available to fleets, drivers, shippers and brokers via a Web portal or directly from the Trucker Path app.
Drivers can use the app to scan the surrounding area for new truckloads or view them in a list, the company said.
“Our Trucker Path app already provides truckers access to information about parking, fueling and other points of interest along their routes. This is a great way to complete the package by offering them a load finder,” Trucker Path CEO Ivan Tsybaev said.
Trucker Path said it began private testing of the freight-matching platform in March with a limited number of fleets and owner-operators.
