Technology provider Trucker Path has unveiled an app intended to give users fast access to available loads.
The Truckloads app for iOS and Android currently is in beta testing, with more than 400 brokers that post nearly 100,000 loads daily. The app is slated to be fully operational in a few months, Vice President of Strategy Charles Myers told Transport Topics.
The Truckloads app offers features such as filtering loads by city or zip code, display of brokers’ credit ratings and tracking how long loads are posted.
The Trucker Path Pro navigational aid app, with more than 400,000 active users, now offers location information to find nearby loads, fuel pricing and customized points of interest to show features such as truck parking, the company said in a statement.
“We listened to our user community and have developed the second in what will eventually be a suite of new products from Trucker Path,” Myers said in a statement. “Our ultimate goal is to provide the over-the-road trucking community with a complete suite of apps and Web-based tools.”
The company earlier this year said it has raised $21.5 million to fund its product development and marketing.
