Truckstop launched three new services aimed at helping brokers ensure they’re doing business with trusted carriers, the company announced April 9.

The new services leverage technology to help brokers confirm carriers are who they say they are, identify potential risks and manage their business relationships. Truckstop designed the services based on feedback it heard from its brokerage customers that showed there is a growing need for additional tools and technology to aid in the vetting process.

“In my discussions with brokers of all sizes, three prevalent themes emerge — fraud, trust and control, and private network utilizations,” Truckstop CEO Kendra Tucker said. “For decades, Truckstop has remained dedicated to delivering innovative products to brokers, and we’ve continued to invest in tailored solutions to help them address these three key challenges.”

Identity Verification is designed to verify carriers by combining government identifications and real-time photographs to perform a check against their registered information. Risk Factors analyzes disparate carrier datasets by using artificial intelligence to highlight identified risks. FreightFriend is a carrier-relationship management tool that helps brokers improve carrier utilization and increase margins.
