Stephen Wilson has been selected as president and CEO of Priority Logistics, replacing Tim Nolen, who has been named chairman of the board of directors.
Wilson, an equity partner in the company, also was elected to the board, a statement from the company said.
Previously, he managed logistics for JF Hillebrand. Wilson’s two decades of transport industry experience include work at intermodal marketing company Alliance Shippers and CSX.
Nolen, the statement said, will have a “strategic advisory role” on the board of the Overland Park, Kansas-based company founded in 1999.
In a related move, David Burdick, vice president of Priority Logistics, was elected to the board of directors.
“We sincerely thank Tim for 13 years of outstanding leadership. We look forward to his continued guidance on the board,” Burdick said in a statement.
