ATLANTA — Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems previewed the next generation of its collision-mitigation technology, discussed the industry’s pathway to automated driving and introduced several new products here at the North American Commercial Vehicle Show.

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems reported it expects to reach record production of remanufactured brake shoes amid other brake-related milestones for air disc brakes and actuators.

New Classes 7-8 tractors sold on or after Aug. 1 must be equipped with electronic stability control, which means that more fleets will need a greater understanding of the technology.

Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake’s ADB22X-LT air disc brake now is offered by trailer maker Hyundai Translead.

International Truck announced its International LT Series in 6x4, 6x2, and 4x2 configurations now feature Bendix ADB22X air disc brakes as a standard offering on all axles.

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems' electronic stability program now is standard on Kenworth Truck Co.’s T680 and T880 trucks.

The Bendix Wingman Advanced collision mitigation system now is available for order as an option for Kenworth Truck Co.'s T270 and T370 medium-duty trucks, the truck maker said.
