The Environmental Protection Agency recently announced that $115 million has been directed for the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act program.

After switching to Mobil Delvac™, BSA Trucking was able to extend oil drain intervals from 30,000 miles to 75,000 miles. As a result, BSA Trucking had less maintenance, kept their trucks on the road longer and increased productivity.  

Kansas will be able to train more diesel technicians with a new $1.2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration.

“Diesel demand can act as a leading indicator for broader growth as an early sign that spending by households is waning,” said one expert.

The national average price for diesel marked its eighth consecutive weekly drop, shedding another 5.7 cents to dip to $4.128 a gallon, the Energy Information Administration reported.

The national average price of diesel continued its descent, sliding 6.2 cents to $4.185 a gallon in its seventh straight decline, according to Energy Information Administration data released March 20.

The national average price for a gallon of diesel sank by 9.5 cents, reaching $4.444 a gallon, according to data for the week ending Feb. 13 provided by the Energy Information Administration.

The national average price of diesel slid 8.3 cents to $4.539 a gallon, according to Energy Information Administration data released Feb. 6.

The national average price of diesel continued its downward trajectory, falling 21.3 cents to $4.754 a gallon, according to Energy Information Administration data released Dec. 12.

Unprecedented diesel prices mean that demand destruction for the fuel is probable, the International Energy Agency said.
