The national average diesel price fell by nearly the same amount it increased a week ago, shedding 9.1 cents to $4.454 a gallon, according to Energy Information Administration data released Oct. 30.

The national average price for a gallon of diesel climbed 10.1 cents to $4.545 a gallon after a recent downswing, according to Energy Information Administration data released Oct. 23.

The national average diesel price dropped by 5.4 cents a gallon over the past week to reach $4.444 a gallon, according to data released Oct. 16 by the Energy Information Administration.
