Former Roadrunner Executives Indicted for Securities Fraud
Two former executives of carrier Roadrunner Transportation Systems were charged June 15 by the U.S. Department of Justice with multiple counts of conspiracy and wire and securities fraud in a scheme that the department claims led to a loss of $245 million in shareholder value.
Roadrunner Reports Nine-Month 2017 Results
Roadrunner Transportation Systems in the past week traveled a bit further on its path to earn a profit and remain a publicly listed company, releasing results for the first nine months of 2017. The Downers Grove, Ill.-based truckload and less-than-truckload carrier has been amending its financial filings since announcing more than a year ago that a company-led investigation found that the previous management team made substantial accounting errors.

Roadrunner Transportation Systems received an extension through April 4 to remain on the New York Stock Exchange, avoiding a delisting due to the company retracting financial statements for every quarter since the beginning of 2016 and also pulling its annual reports for 2015 and 2016.
