Existing home sales fell 0.6% in March, the National Association of Realtors said Monday.

U.S. heavy-duty truck sales fell 24.3% in March to 13,101 vehicles, the seventh straight year-over-year decline, WardsAuto.com reported. Truck makers and dealers blamed the slump on ongoing economic uncertainty and regulatory concerns.

Existing home sales rose 0.4% to 4.98 million in January, the highest level in three years, the National Association of Realtors said Thursday.

The contraction in heavy-duty U.S. retail truck sales worsened in February, with volume falling by 18.6%, the sharpest rate of decline during the current six-month streak of reductions.

Sales of used Class 8 vehicles slipped 3.1% in January from the same month last year as limited inventories and economic concerns put a damper on purchases, ACT Research reported.

New home sales increased 15.6% in January to the highest level since July 2008, the Commerce Department said Tuesday.

U.S. heavy-duty truck sales declined 6.8% in January from a year earlier to 13,158 units, the lowest monthly total since July 2011, WardsAuto.com said Feb. 12.
