Used Class 8 truck sales in June came in at 21,500 units, equal to sales figures from the year-ago period, ACT Research reported.

Used Class 8 truck sales in May decreased 4.9% year-over-year to 19,300 units from 20,300, ACT Research reported.

Used Class 8 truck sales in April decreased 20% year-over-year to 17,600 units from 22,100 units, ACT Research reported.

Sales of used Class 8 trucks in March decreased 19.8% year-over-year to 20,200 units from 25,200, ACT Research reported. However, month-over-month sales rose 14.8%.

Used Class 8 truck sales in January decreased 12% month-over-month to 18,500 units from 21,100 units, ACT Research reported.

Used Class 8 vehicle sales in December declined 2.4% from a year ago, but increased slightly from the prior month, ACT Research reported.

The average retail price for a used Class 8 vehicle in November inched higher though sales declined by a few hundred units and mileage rose compared with a year earlier, ACT Research reported.

The average U.S. retail price in October for a used Class 8 just cleared $83,000, 15% higher compared with a year earlier, ACT Research reported.

Used Class 8 sales in the U.S. were down again in September, the average retail price fell, too, and likely steeper declines are ahead, ACT Research reported.

The average U.S. retail price of a used Class 8 vehicle in July inched past $90,000 to tower over the year-ago price, but it also dipped slightly from the month before to extend the market’s ongoing softening, ACT Research reported.
