Fuel Averages to Hit Records

Retail diesel prices will average $2.82 a gallon this summer, down 6 cents from last summer, but the average price for the full year will be the highest on record, the Department of Energy said.

Diesel Climbs 5¢ to $2.84

The average pump price of diesel fuel continued to rise Monday, climbing another nickel following last week’s 11.4-cent jump to $2.84 a gallon, the Department of Energy reported.
