LinkAmerica Corp., a Tulsa, Okla., trucking and logistics company, has named John Simone its new CEO.

Express-1 Expedited Solutions said its second-quarter profit fell 39.2% to $914,000, or 3 cents per share, from $1.5 million, or 5 cents, a year ago.

Trailer Bridge Inc. reported a second-quarter loss of $3.6 million, or 30 cents a share, compared with net income of $900,000, or 7 cents, a year ago.
