North American Trailer Expands in Calif. With Acquisition

North American Trailer said it has acquired Fontana, Calif.-based Quality Fleet Repair, effective Sunday. Terms were not disclosed.

“We welcome North American Trailer to this venture, one that will be of significant benefit to our customers and our marketplace,” said Quality Fleet Repair owners John Austin and Frank Altholtz, who will remain with the company.

Salt Lake City-based North American Trailer, which represents Hyundai, Fontaine and Mac Trailers, said it plans more expansion later this year.
