In-cab technology provider Samsara is expanding its suite of artificial intelligence tools through a product to be known as Samsara Intelligence. The tool aims to offer safer, more efficient operations, Samsara said Dec. 3.
The latest tool comprises Samsara Assistant, a generative AI tool that provides instant answers to operational questions, and Intelligent Experiences, which offers embedded AI-driven recommendations and actions.
Samsara Assistant can be used to identify vehicles with severe fault codes, which can then be resolved with step-by-step instructions; spot time-sensitive disruptions in daily operations, such as unexpected stops; or synthesize hours-of-service regulatory requirements for a new geography or vehicle type.
Samsara Assistant and Intelligent Experiences are available in beta format to North American customers.
