XPO Opens Logistics Hub For European Wax Center
XPO Logistics has opened a third regional distribution facility for European Wax Center, a provider of beauty products and waxing services with more than 600 locations in the United States.
At the 40,000-square-foot dedicated facility in Camp Hill, Pa., XPO will provide inventory and order preparation and fulfillment services along with management of inbound goods, storage, packing and shipping of products to local store operators.
The facility will help European Wax Center to accelerate its growth while managing a complex supply chain, said Ashfaque Chowdhury, XPO Logistics president of supply chain for Americas and Asia Pacific.
“We have aggressive plans to elevate our brand in the beauty lifestyle space,” said John Biggert, vice president of supply chain for European Wax Center in Hallandale, Fla. “By relying on XPO for an end-to-end logistics solution, we can focus on supporting the success of our franchisees.”
XPO — which ranks No. 1 on the Transport Topics Top 50 list of the largest logistics companies in North America, and No. 3 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers — operates distribution centers for European Wax Center in Portland, Tenn., and Sparks, Nev., and operates 372 dedicated warehouses in the United States.
