Commercial vehicle supplier Wabco Holdings Inc. announced it has made a $10 million strategic investment in Nikola Motor Co., which is developing hydrogen-electric Class 8 trucks and other vehicles, vehicle components, energy storage systems and electric vehicle drivetrains.

Commercial vehicle supplier Accuride Corp. announced it will extend its North American distribution network to target key regional markets to reduce lead times and provide aftermarket customers with new shipment options.

The U.S. average retail price of diesel slipped 0.9 cent to $2.901 a gallon. The cost of trucking's main fuel dropped in all regions, except New England (up 2.4 cents) and the Central Atlantic (unchanged).
