Norfolk Southern Corp. said it completed a reconfigured rail junction in Northern Virginia, part of its “Crescent Corridor” aimed at boosting East Coast freight rail speeds.

Ozburn-Hessey Logistics has named Scott McWilliams executive chairman of its board of directors and Bert Irigoyen chief executive officer, the company said in a statement.

Legislation that would ban the transportation of horses in double-decker trailers would cost the nearly 80 contractors who transport livestock to rodeos all over the U.S. more than $4 million in extra operating and equipment costs, according to estimates by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
