Jubitz Truck Stop and Travel Center will hold a free barbecue bash to celebrate truck drivers from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 12. During Jubitz Driver Appreciation Day, anyone with a commercial driver license can enjoy a barbecue lunch, visit vendors and win prizes.

Groupe Biscuits Leclerc is recognizing the importance of trucking to the firm, as well as how difficult the labor shortage is for the industry, during this year’s National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.

Truck drivers craving barbecue may be in luck during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. All 43 Boss Truck Shops locations in 22 states will thank them with a free barbecue.

Denny’s restaurants across the United States will celebrate professional drivers by offering discounts and a discount key tag through Sept. 30. The monthlong special is inspired by National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, which spans Sept. 9-15.

Kodiak Robotics, founded in April by Don Burnette and Paz Eshel, said it has raised $40 million from a group of venture capital investment firms, including Battery Ventures, CRV, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Tusk Ventures.

Private equity firm ATL Partners has purchased a majority stake in specialty freight and logistics company Rock-It Cargo, as well as its subsidiary Rich Forwarding Limited.
